Rusty has driven NASCAR Late Model Stock race cars in the Carolinas since 1988. During this time he has driven for himself and for other teams. Rusty has an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering and is the owner and president of Wise Electric Control Inc., an electrical contracting company in Cherryville, NC. Rusty is #rustysage#, been married for #married# years, has two children Winston and Savannah and lives in Cherryville.

1988 -	Started racing NASCAR Late Model Stock cars in Concord, NC
1989 -	Ran for rookie of the year in NASCAR Late Model Stock in Hickory, NC.
1990 -	Raced NASCAR Late Model Stock in Hickory, NC.
1991 to 1996 -	Raced NASCAR Late Model Stock cars on various tracks in the Carolinas such as Concord NC, Hickory NC, and Myrtle Beach SC.
1997 -	Rusty raced the 1997 Pontiac Sunfire for Control Racing on the NASCAR Goody's Dash Tour.
1998 -	Rusty raced the 1998 Pontiac Sunfire for Control Racing on the NASCAR Goody's Dash Tour.
1999 -	Rusty raced the 1999 Pontiac Sunfire for Control Racing on the NASCAR Goody's Dash Tour.
2000 to #lastyear#-	Rusty has been involved in ARCA, Nascar Busch, and Nascar Winston Cup Series.

The Control Racing facility, consisting of 7,300 square feet, is located on Hwy. 150 West in Cherryville, North Carolina. Cherryville is located 30 miles west of Charlotte. The buildings are complete with offices, meeting rooms, and a modern shop and fabrication area which rivals many Winston Cup teams.
